The objective of this book is to present some in-depth reviews of selected topics in “Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics” that can be applied to drug product development and drug therapy.

Our aim in preparing this book is to introduce essential concepts in drug kinetics, and to provide the reader with a perspective on current research in this area. The general intention is to demonstrate that the kinetics of a drug is a primary concern throughout its lifetime, and that for any given drug; the multiple factors influencing its kinetics necessitate on-going studies of its therapeutic successes.
